Orange Moons purpose is to hire qualified workers to provide a curfew watch, monitoring student groups traveling on tour, and to help our workers earn extra income by offering assignments near them.
When customers request chaperone service, you have two ways to claim an assignment:
1. Request the assignment that you want to work.
2. Admin will send you a work request.
Here’s how it works:
1. Service Request: When a customer requests service, all monitors who have matching availability will see the available assignments in their Orange Moon account.
2. Request Assignment.
3. Work the assignment, and get paid!
Assignments are first come, first served, so make sure you act fast!
Night Monitors will work at various hotels, chosen by the customer, in their selected work areas.
The assignments are 4 hours to 12 hours. Longer assignment hours can be split with other monitors.
Example of assignment hours:
Above all, when hiring night monitors, we focus on attitude. We look for positive, accountable, and proactive personalities that are willing to learn something new at any moment.
We support the student tourism industry, so the worker in this role should be responsible and reliable.
Having a background in childcare, education or security work is recommended, but certainly not required. We also encourage those with military, healthcare, retail, or other customer service experience to apply.
We can not guarantee any number of hours or assignments. That’s up to how often customers book new requests and how many night monitors are looking to claim those assignment!
When a customer books a new request, night monitors will be sent a notification.
The assignment will go to the worker who accepts first. Assignments can go fast, so if you like an assignment and you can work the hours, make sure to request it!
You can work up to 35 hours a week, so you can accept as many assignments as you like within those hours.
No. You are not required to work a certain number of hours or assignments, but you should keep your calendar updated to receive work requests You create your availability, so you work when you want to!
If you don’t accept a work request for 30 days, you will go into inactive status.
If you’re inactive for 90 days, your account will be deactivated.
We can grant an Account-Hold on a case-by-case basis (for example, you’re going back to school) by submitting an account-hold request.
