Role Summary
We are seeking dependable and proactive individuals to join our team as Night Monitors. This role involves ensuring the safety and well-being of student groups during overnight hours through regular hotel patrols and documentation of activity. Night Monitors will work independently and are responsible for submitting accurate and timely reports.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled patrols and walkthroughs of designated hotel floors every 30 minutes.
• Submit timely, GPS-enabled reports documenting tasks completed during the shift.
• Respond professionally to any incidents or concerns raised by hotel staff or student group leaders.
• Document all communications with students and supervisors as part of compliance.
• Maintain a professional appearance and adhere to high standards of hygiene.
• Work drug- and alcohol-free during assigned shifts.
• Randomly verify compliance with uniform requirements via photos or video calls.
• Assist with monitoring additional floors or groups as needed, earning supplementary pay ($15–$45 depending on coverage).
• Submit receipts for parking reimbursement where applicable.

Qualifications

• At least 21 years old with a clean criminal background check (contractor is responsible for covering costs).
• Dependable and punctual, with strong communication skills.
• Capable of handling late-night hours (9 PM to 6 AM local time).
• Access to a reliable smartphone for report submissions and GPS verification.
• Professional attire and demeanor required at all times.

Compensation and Benefits

• $17/hour standard rate, with a 25% holiday shift bonus.
• Increased rates for last-minute assignments: $22/hour (standard), $27.50/hour (holiday).
• Additional payments for managing extra floors or groups ($15–$45 depending on coverage).
• Parking reimbursement provided with valid receipts.

Contract Terms
This is a task-based, independent contractor role. Night Monitors are responsible for their own contractor insurance, if applicable, and must fulfill assigned deliverables as outlined.

Peak Season: 4th week of February to 2nd week of June
Off-Peak Season: 3rd week of June to 3rd week of February
