After Your Assignment

Thank you for completing your assignment with Orange Moon Student Safety Services!
This page explains what happens after your shift and what you need to know about reporting, payment, and feedback. 

1. Submission Confirmation

Once your assignment ends:

  • Confirm that you have submitted all required reports 
  • Ensure every report entry is complete and accurate 
  • Confirm assignment completion in the contractor portal
     

The assignment is not considered fully complete until all deliverables are submitted and accepted by the system.

2. When Is My Payment Processed?

Payment for your assignment is tied to completed deliverables, including reports and any required documentation.


For overnight assignments:

  • Payments are typically processed via Stripe 
  • Payment is generally issued by 2:00 PM the business day following your completed assignment, once all deliverables have been verified
     

This timing helps ensure accuracy in reporting, compliance with assignment requirements, and correct payment processing.

3. What If My Reports Were Incomplete or Missing?

If any required reports are missing, incomplete, or do not comply with assignment standards:

  • Payment may be delayed 
  • You may receive a notification to correct or complete missing items 
  • Continued missing or incomplete reports may affect eligibility for future assignments
     

Reporting is a required deliverable and is evaluated as part of your assignment completion.

4. Feedback & Issue Reporting

After your assignment, you may want to provide feedback or report any issue you encountered, including:

  • Assignment logistics 
  • Site conditions 
  • Equipment or access issues 
  • App or reporting errors

Your feedback helps improve the system and support for future assignments.

5. Performance Points (If Applicable)

Orange Moon may apply performance points if:

  • Assignments are not completed according to standard 
  • Reports are missing or late 
  • Assignment commitments are not honored


Performance points may affect eligibility for future assignments.


Points and their impact are explained in your training and policies.

6. What Happens Next?

After your assignment:

  • You remain eligible to view and accept future assignments 
  • You may update your availability 
  • You may complete additional training if new tools or processes are introduced 
  • Your contractor profile remains active unless deactivated
     

Assignments do not guarantee future work, and you may choose which assignments to accept based on your schedule and preferences.

7. Cancelled or Released Assignments

If an assignment you accepted was later cancelled by the client or released due to operational changes:

  • You will be notified through the contractor portal 
  • You will not be penalized for assignments cancelled by Orange Moon or the client 
  • You may pursue other available assignments

8. Getting Ready for the Next Assignment

To stay ready:

  • Check your notifications regularly 
  • Keep your availability updated in the platform 
  • Review upcoming assignments in your dashboard 
  • Complete any required training modules when available
     

Staying engaged and prepared helps ensure you continue to receive suitable assignment opportunities.
