If the 48-hour cancellation window has elapsed, necessitating a cancellation from your Orange Moon account, you should reach out to the admin for assistance in processing the cancellation.
As a valued member of the Orange Moon community, we encourage you to approach such situations with thoughtfulness and consideration for both our customers and fellow workers. Providing ample notice contributes to the smooth operation of our network.
You were hired to work at Orange Moon because we believe you possess the qualities to succeed and do some great work for our customers and student groups.
The role of monitoring student travelers to ensure their safety and comfort, mirroring the security they experience at home, is an enriching endeavor that demands your vigilance and attentiveness. Striking the right balance between firmness and politeness is vital.
Our student groups find themselves away from their parents, and these parents entrust their children's safety to you.
Here's the expectation:
Treat the students just as you would wish your own loved ones to be treated while on a journey – with comprehensive supervision (SAFETY), respect, encouragement, and genuine care.
If you find yourself running late, it's essential to take swift and appropriate action. Arriving on time entails being ready to start your assignment at its scheduled beginning. This usually means being present 10-15 minutes early, allowing for parking, interactions with the tour director or group leader, and settling in for your duties.
As per our Ethics and Business Conduct Policy, arriving late results in the assessment of one point. It's crucial to communicate if you're running behind schedule. Failing to do so will incur an additional point. Hence, being late without notifying will lead to a total of two points.
If you're faced with running late, please follow these steps:
Should the tour director advise against your attendance due to your lateness, please note that you won't be compensated for that assignment, and you'll receive one point for the lateness.
We value your dedication to Orange Moon and understand the importance of honoring the time you've allocated for your upcoming assignments.
Orange Moons customers may cancel assignments anytime before an assignment's start time. In this scenario, there's no action required on your part, but you will not be compensated for cancellations with more than 2 hours notice. If there is another assignment available within your work location, you will have the opportunity to be reassigned to cover that assignment and receive full payment.
However, if an Orange Moon customer cancels an assignment within 2 hours before your assignment is set to begin or while you're en route to the assignment, and there is not another assignment within your work location, you will be compensated payment equivalent to 2 hours.
If you have been diagnosed with COVID-19 or any contagious illness, or if you experience any of these symptoms, please refrain from working your assignment:
