Expectations

We know you've got great expectations of Orange Moon and our customers do too.

In your role as a night monitor, your main responsibility is to ensure curfew adherence and safety for traveling student groups. When you agree to an assignment, it's essential that you arrive punctually and prepared, as customers rely on your commitment.


Positive assignment outcomes build customer trust in Orange Moon, resulting in more opportunities for you.


However, in cases where challenges arise, we have a behavior-based point policy in place.


Familiarize yourself with behaviors that result in points, understand the repercussions of accumulating points, and be aware of how points can eventually expire.

What leads to points?

Definition of a Point

A point is a measure of performance used to evaluate the conduct and commitment of night monitors while providing curfew and safety watch services for student travelers. Points are assigned based on specific actions and behaviors outlined in this policy. 

Single Points

The following actions result in 1 point each:


  • Late Drop:  Cancelling an assignment within 48 hours of the start time.


  • Late Arrival:  Arriving late to a scheduled assignment.


  • Not Calling Ahead if Running Late:  Failing to provide advance notice of lateness.


  • Early Departure:  Leaving an assignment early with proper communication and admin approval.


  • Improper Conduct:  Arriving unprepared, not in uniform, or exhibiting inappropriate behavior. Points may be given at admin discretion.

Triple Points

Certain actions significantly impact our customers and brand. The following actions result in 3 points each and trigger a disciplinary review:


  • No show:  Failing to appear for an accepted assignment without prior cancellation.


  • Assignment abandonment:  Leaving a scheduled assignment early without proper communication or admin approval.

Culture Fit

Accumulating two points within your first three accepted assignments may prompt a disciplinary review for commitment and responsibility assessment.
