You play a crucial role in our team. You rely on us for work assignments to support your life and aspirations, and we rely on you to fulfill assignments for our customers and student travelers.
At Orange Moon, we maintain an open-door policy. We encourage everyone to voice their thoughts, especially concerning ethics concerns. We are here to support you in real-time and value hearing both your highs and lows.
We want you to succeed. Set your availability, and we'll send you available assignment opportunities. You can accept as many assignments as you choose.
Be honest, accountable, respectful, and kind. Treat others as you wish to be treated and as you would want your loved ones treated—with dignity, decency, and respect.
Be punctual. Arrive early enough to be inside the building and ready to start your assignment on time.
Do what you say you'll do. Show up for your assignments. If you anticipate being late, notify your manager ahead of time. If you need to cancel, provide at least 48 hours' notice.
Adhere to the uniform policy. Dress appropriately in black pants with your Orange Moon shirt and work badge.
Exercise professionalism and sound judgment. Do not report to work under the influence of alcohol or illegal drugs. Avoid actions that could harm the Orange Moon brand or our customers, including negative social media posts.
Failure to fulfill your responsibilities may result in disciplinary measures, such as accruing points or potential removal from our network. By accepting assignments from Orange Moon, you confirm your awareness, comprehension, and acceptance of our standards, while we reinforce our dedication to fulfilling our obligations to you.
Improper conduct includes, but is not limited to, failing to comply with dress code, showing disrespect to customers or colleagues, and leaving assignments prematurely without prior communication. Orange Moon admin may assign points for unprofessionalism or unpreparedness; consistent good judgment is essential.
If diagnosed with COVID-19 or any contagious illness, or experiencing symptoms like a sore throat with a fever, jaundice, diarrhea, vomiting, high fever, chills, sweats, or a new or altered cough, refrain from working.
If you need to cancel an assignment:
If running late, promptly notify the tour director and Orange Moon team to avoid penalties. Communication is crucial; lack thereof results in additional points.
If sent home by the tour director, communicate the reason with Orange Moon promptly for follow-up and potential reassignment.
For early assignment cancellations or extended hours requests, contact Orange Moon admin for guidance and compensation details.
Reach out to Orange Moon admin with explanations or documents regarding points or disputes promptly for resolution.
