Onboarding and Training

What's Included in Onboarding?

As soon as you join our team, we guide you through each step of onboarding, which includes:


  • Reviewing legal consents
  • Completing a background check
  • Filling out a 1099 and new hire paperwork
  • Submitting proof of vehicle insurance
  • Completing chaperone training

Why is There a Background Check?

We conduct background checks to ensure the safety and security of our workers, student groups, and customers. We assess each result fairly to determine its impact on your employment with Orange Moon.


This check is mandatory and requires a payment of $26.05. We provide access to your report through our partner, ClearChecks.

How Long Does the Background Check Take?

Most applicants receive results within 24 hours, but processing may take up to 5 days. In rare cases, certain jurisdictions may take longer (2-6 weeks for past charges). 

What Happens After My Background Check Report is Completed?

If the report shows no concerns, your onboarding continues. If there are relevant convictions, we may request additional information. Failure to respond to a "Pre-Adverse Event Notice" within 7 days may affect your hiring decision. 

Can I Dispute Background Check Findings?

Yes, email  support@clearchecks.com with your name, a copy of a government issued photo id (such as a driver’s license) and  details of what you wish to dispute. Only you can initiate this process. 

I Got Hired and Completed My Background Check. What Now?

After passing your background check, you'll receive an email invitation from  invites@microsoft.com  to join our Microsoft Application for access to our Teams group.  

I Completed My New Hire Documents and Training. What Happens Next?

Once you've finished your new hire paperwork and training, watch for an email from no-reply@orangemoonsss.com  titled "OMSSS Password Creation" to set up your Orange Moon account password. Check your spam folder if you don't see it.
