Onboarding for Night Monitors and Administrative Support (if applicable) includes:
At the end of onboarding, you will be able to access the Orange Moon platform and view available assignments.
Background checks help protect the safety and security of students, families, and our contractors. We work with a trusted background check vendor that integrates with our platform.
All background checks must be:
Externally obtained reports (screenshots, PDFs, edited documents) are not accepted.
A background check is valid for three (3) years from completion but may be required sooner if a triggering event occurs (such as a lapse in service or safety concern).
Most reports are returned within 24–72 hours, but processing times can vary by jurisdiction. Some areas may take longer (up to a few weeks in rare cases).
Once your background check clears:
If additional information is needed, we will notify you with next steps.
Yes. You authorize payment through Stripe when prompted. The cost covers ordering and processing through our vendor and is required for onboarding eligibility.
After completing all onboarding steps and the required training & quiz:
Remember: acceptance of an assignment creates a binding service commitment under our policies.
